Fred Rollins started Rollins Machinery Ltd. in 1946 after World War II, he found that the war had created a large shortage of construction and logging equipment in British Columbia.

During the 50’s & 60’s B.C. saw rapid expansion and development of natural resources creating a large demand for construction and highway maintenance equipment. Rollins Machinery evolved in the 80's and 90's as B.C.’s largest supplier of Refuse, Recycling, Municipal, Turf & Golf equipment as well as the largest supplier of light industrial construction equipment.

Rollins Machinery has been serving British Columbia’s equipment needs for over 60 years, dealing with most of the original suppliers it started with in 1946. We are committed to our business in British Columbia and take great pride in our excellent products lines and in our ability to provide top quality parts and repair & maintenance services to our valued customers across the province.

Rollins Machinery opens Vernon and Parksville and Victoria service centers in 2003 to better support customers in outlying areas.

January 2004 Rollins Machinery becomes the largest New Holland Dealership in British Columbia with the Acquisition of Valley Equipment.
